Ordering

Q.How can I place my order?
A.

Orders can be placed online via the website or manually via email (admin@specialtyartglass.com.au), fax (02 8569 0664) or phone (02 6457 1531). When faxing your order please use the form provided below (PDF & Word versions):

If you are emailing your order, for your own security, please do not include your credit cards details. Once we have your order we will call you for your credit card details.

  
Q.Do I need to register a customer account to place an order?
A.

No, you do not need an account to place an order. If you would like a customer account however just click on this link and follow the prompts.

To purchase without using your account just complete your address details in the second screen during check out (it’s the section under the ‘Are you new here?’ wording). Once you’ve entered your details just hit the ‘NEXT’ button at the bottom of the page. Below is a picture of the screen where you enter your address information.

 

 

 

  
Q.Is a customer account the same as a newsletter subscription?
A.No, a customer account and newsletter subscription are two different things.
  
Q.I have an account but can't remember my username and /or password?
A. Not a problem, just email us at admin@specialtyartglass.com.au or phone us on 02 6457 1531 and we will look up your username and reset your password if necessary.
  
Q. What countries do you accept orders from?
A. We accept orders from the following countries: Australia (including Norfolk Island), New Zealand, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States and Canada.


Payment

Q.What currencies do you accept?
A.We trade only in Australian dollars
  
Q.What payment methods do you accept?
A.

We accept Direct Bank Deposit / Transfer, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Cheque (Australian customers only) and Australia Post Money Orders. Please bear in mind that orders are only dispatched once your payment has been cleared which can take up to 3 working days if paying by cheque.

Q.How to I select a payment method?
A.

You can select the payment method from the drop down menu in the ‘Shopping Basket’ screen.

Q.Who processes my Credit Card payment and are my credit card details secure?
A.

All of our credit card transactions are processed by eWay, in real time 24/7.

eWay is an eCommerce payment gateway that processes credit card payments on behalf of thousands of merchants. Established in 1998, eWay is a trusted payment processor and processes online payments on behalf of all major Australian banks. eWay has all the infrastructure and processes required to keep your details as secure as possible when completing your online payment.

  
Q.How do I get your details bank account details for direct bank deposit / transfer?
A.Our bank account details, for direct bank transfer payments, will be supplied during the check out process and are also printed on your Order Confirmation. Please be sure to include your NAME or order number when paying by direct bank transfer.
  
Q.Can I setup a credit account with Specialty Art Glass?
A.Payment must be received prior to goods being dispatched. We do not offer credit accounts.

A.Our details for cheque or money order payments are (Australian customers only)

Delivery

Q.What delivery options are available?
A.

All parcels are sent via Australia Post 'Safe Drop', i.e. if nobody is at the nominated address to collect your parcel it wil be sent to your local post office for collection. You can nominate not to have your parcel sent via 'Safe Drop', in this case however we can not be responsible for any lost parcels.

Australian customers are offered a choice of regular or express delivery options. We also offer the option of registering your parcel which includes $100 insurance for $2.80.

International customers have the choice of air or surface mail. Please note that international mail items cannot be traced and the risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to Australia Post.

  
Q.When will my order be mailed?
A.We dispatch most orders the next working day. With orders received before 11am on working days we endeavour to send them the same day.
  
Q.How are your postage costs calculated?
A.

Postage charges are calculated using software provided by Australia Post which determines the charge based on the weight and delivery address of your parcel. A small charge is added to cover the cost of the packaging materials. An estimated delivery times is also provided.

In cases where an order can be sent as a letter instead of a parcel, we will do so and refund the difference in the postage cost.
